As a Sensitivity Editor, I have years of experience working with everyone from small indie authors to big publishing houses such as Penguin Random House, and everything in between. As a Writing Consultant, I have worked with baby writers just beginning their journey with basic skills to experienced writers looking to step up the complexity and synergy in their characters, worldbuilding, and more. My mission is to uplift my clients with tools and skills they can continue to use and develop long after my work with them is complete.

Services

Sensitivity Edits ($30/hr)

I offer sensitivity edits for authors writing characters or situations that are outside their lived experience. A sensitivity edit is a specialized developmental edit focusing on a particular element to ensure that it is handled authentically and respectfully without accidentally doing harm to the community in question. Edits will consist of comments in the manuscript (ms) and a 60-minute call with the author and any relevant to discuss my feedback at no extra charge. My primary sensitivity subjects are:

  • LGBT+ and Nonbinary

  • Polyamory

  • Autism

  • Trauma / Abuse / PTSD

  • Hospice/End of Life

Writing Consulting ($50/1hr + $30/additional hour)

I offer consulting for writers looking to develop concepts into full, workable stories with consistent worldbuilding, compelling characters, fleshed out plotlines, and unified themes. I will also work closely with the writer on improving basic writing skills and tools that will allow them to work independently at a higher level.

I have extensive experience with CYO, dynamic, and branching story structures, especially those compatible with gaming and visual novel formats.
